November 2019 Prayer Letter
Dear Friends of CrossRoads,
She did not even know she was pregnant when she walked into the local emergency room last week. Disbelief quickly turned to disapproval as she was given her diagnosis. The attending physician handed her a Love Box and left the room. Upon his return he found her smiling from ear to ear. She had read the letter from the Love Box and had chosen life.
This letter had been written by someone at a local box-packing event. You have the same opportunity to save the life of an unborn child. Go to embracegrace.com to find out more.
Thank you for praying for our ultrasound service to get underway. We passed the OSHA inspection and are now offering free ultrasound to abortion vulnerable women. Presently we are enjoying the hospitality of Greater Greenwood United Ministries, as they are allowing us to use a room in their free clinic while we turn our center's kitchen into an ultrasound room. Save the Storks has awarded us a grant to purchase the the exam table and make necessary changes. Please pray that God would use our ultrasound services to save the lives of the unborn, as young moms bond with their babies when they see the ultrasound image.
One hundred pregnant girls are expected to attend the Health Fair this Saturday (11.9.) at the Greenwood Library from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Please pray that God would use both the CrossRoads and Embrace Grace team to speak into their situations as these young moms allow us to walk alongside them. This event is open to anyone who is pregnant and in need of support. Feel free to invite others.
Thank you to everyone who attended our banquet on Oct 22. It was great to see so many different churches represented. Dr. Jackson delivered a powerful message about the sanctity of human life to this sold-out crowd, equipping us to defend our pro-life stance. Every life is valuable, no matter the size, level of development, environment, or degree of dependency. We are called to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves (Prov. 31:8). Please pray that we would do this well.
In Christ,
